You're Not Alone

Emily Garnett was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (mBC) in 2017. She was 32 years old.

She walked in the 2019 AnaOno New York Fashion Week Cancerland show "because I wanted to be able to be a part of something bigger, something stronger, something more resilient, and something empowering."

Emily wants people to know how strong the mBC community can be, and how much is still needed in terms of awareness and money for research. Emily shared her story with us because she feels like she doesn't see a lot of people out there living the life she is, but she knows they’re there, and she wants them to be able to see her and say "I'm not alone."
