Humanizing MBC

Patricia Wu was one of the many metastatic breast cancer (mBC) patients who modeled in the 2019 AnaOno New York Fashion week Cancerland show.

It’s important to Patricia to humanize mBC, a disease that’s too easily defined by statistics.

"It’s important that people see names and faces...real people that are living with this disease, and are hoping for funding for more research to help us find a cure or to make this a chronic disease."

Walking down the runway did exactly just that.
